The third Steering Committee Meeting of the second phase of the “Vocational Education for Employment Programme” (VET4JOB-II), funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France and EDUSER in partnership with the General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education of the Ministry of National Education and Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) as beneficiary institutions, was held in Ankara on 18 February 2026.
The opening remarks were delivered by Jean BARBE, Head of Section for Civil Society, Fundamental Rights, Judiciary and Home Affairs, and Human and Social Development at the EU Delegation to Türkiye; Mustafa GÜNAY, Head of the Department of Projects and Social Partners at the General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education of the Ministry of National Education; Fatih DURAN, Team Leader of the FRIT Coordination Unit at the Presidency of Migration Management under the Ministry of Interior; Atakan ÇELİK, Deputy Secretary General of Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK); and Violaine GAGNET, Head of the Vocational Training, Social Inclusion and Employment Unit at Expertise France.
During the meeting, Dr. Fatma ÖZDEMİR ULUÇ, Team Leader at Expertise France, and Aişe AKPINAR, Programme Coordinator at EDUSER, presented the current state of implementation of the second phase of the programme and shared the planning for the upcoming period with the participants.
