Informative Meeting on Workplace Improvement Support and Programme Activities Held in Ankara

Within the scope of the European Union funded the Vocational Education and Training Programme for Employment (VET4JOB-II), implemented under the leadership of Expertise France in cooperation with the MoNE DG-VET and TESK an informative meeting on workplace improvement support and programme activities was held in Ankara between 24–26 April 2026.
During the meeting, supports to be provided by VET4JOB-II in the field of occupational health and safety for enterprises were discussed, with the aim of enabling apprentice students to continue their apprenticeship training in safer and more qualified environments. In this context, it is aimed to conduct workplace visits through coordinator teachers of Vocational Training Centres (VTCs), raise awareness to improve existing practices, and promote preventive and protective measures. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that apprentice students are protected both physically and psychosocially and can develop in healthier learning environments.


The meeting in Ankara brought together representatives from 44 VTCs. Over the course of the three-day programme, workplace improvement supports, apprentice student–enterprise matching processes, and planned activities for 2026 were discussed in detail.


The event concluded with active participation through experience sharing, group work, and Q&A sessions. As a result of the meeting, key outcomes were generated to enhance the programme’s impact on the ground.
