The Corporate Communication, Collaboration and Leadership Skills Training, organised under the Vocational Education and Training Programme for Employment II (VET4JOB-II), funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education’s Directorate General for Vocational and Technical Education (MoNE DGVET) and the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), was successfully held in Gaziantep on 23-24 July 2026.
The two-day training brought together directors and deputy directors of Vocational Training Centres participating in the programme.
The training opened with welcoming remarks by Hatice Güneş, VET4JOB-II Project Expert at the MoNE DGVET. This was followed by a presentation from Fatma Özdemir Uluç, VET4JOB-II Team Leader, who introduced the programme and outlined the objectives, scope and expected outcomes of the training. Participants also shared their expectations, helping establish a collaborative learning environment.
During the first day, participants explored the fundamentals of effective communication, institutional communication, conflict management and negotiation skills. Through simulations and interactive group exercises, they gained practical experience in addressing different communication and conflict scenarios commonly encountered in professional settings.
The second day focused on team management, collaboration and leadership. Simulation exercises and group activities encouraged participants to strengthen teamwork and leadership competencies while reflecting on the key principles and balances required for effective leadership.
The training concluded with a closing and evaluation session, reinforcing the importance of strengthening institutional communication, fostering collaboration and enhancing leadership capacities within Vocational Training Centres.
